The BAVTrak 009 and 025 machines were on display at the Executive Hire Show in Coventry. The exhibition held at the Ricoh Stadium, home of Coventry City Football Club showcased a wide range of equipment and services centred on the plant hire industry.

Our machines were on display on both days, 6 & 7 February 2008, on our stand in the main hall and also by special invitation in the Green Zone. This section specifically featured equipment which had an Environmental theme.

Both stands proved to be extremely busy with many visitors attending the show primarily to see our crushers. 

The new legislation coming into force in April this year requiring Site Waste Management Plans is clearly acting as a catalyst for those companies wishing to hit the ground running with equipment capable of dealing with waste on site.

The Interbuild exhibition closed on Thursday 1st November 2007. The show saw the launch of the BAVTRAK 025 Mini crusher by our manufacturer Digbits Limited. The stand was extremely busy throughout the show with genuine interest from people anticipating the impact of the forthcoming legislation.

Obviously some people are more aware of the implications of the new legislation than others but it was evident that the construction industry as a whole is waking up to its obligations on waste generation and recycling.

The Bavcrusher range will enable even the smallest of sites to crush demolition and construction rubble using the hand loaded 009 machine which processes around 1.5t per hour. Larger sites can use 025 machine which is excavator loaded and averages around 10t per hour.

Our attention will now turn to dealing with and following up the many enquiries received.

This week the BAVTRAK 025 Mini crusher is launched at the Interbuild Exhibition, NEC Birmingham. Interbuild is the No.1 construction exhibition in the UK and runs from Sunday 28^th October to Thursday 1^st November.

The manufacturer of BAV crushers, Digbits Limited is exhibiting on stand C160 Hall 4. Joining the 025 machine we also have on show the 009 Micro. The 025 despite only being officially launched now has attracted early attention from industry watchers and orders have already been placed. Early adopters of the Proximity Principle (see our New Legislation section) recognising the need and benefit of on-site crushing are getting into the market early ahead of the anticipated legislation in 2008.
